LOS GATOS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 18, 2008--Akeena Solar, Inc. (NASDAQ: AKNS), a leading designer and installer of solar power systems, one of the world's largest producers and suppliers of solar energy products, today announced that it has been added to the NASDAQ Clean Edge U.S. Index (Nasdaq: CLEN) and the NASDAQ Clean Edge U.S. Liquid Series Index (Nasdaq: CELS) (the "Indexes"), effective with the market open on Monday, March 24, 2008.
